Pure Baroque

The Melk Benedictine Abbey from Austria is one of the world’s most famous monastic sites, being known for its frescoes and its extensive library.

One the oldest to exist without interruption, the abbey as it is today being built in the 16th century in a beautiful Baroque style. Visited by many tourists, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
