Hundreds
of Romanians and also tourists who happen to be in the mountain resort of
Sinaia (situated in Central Romania), cheered Nicholas Michael de Roumanie
Medforth-Mills, formerly Prince Nicholas of Romania, and his spouse, Alina Maria
Binder, on their religious wedding, on the last day of September.
The disinherited
grandson of the late Michael I, the last king of Romania, choose the former royal
mountain residence to get married.
After
the religious ceremony, the couple arrived at the reception at the Casino in a
carriage, escorted by a group of dancers wearing traditional clothing.
The
school choir from the city of Pecica travelled over 500 km to sing the royal anthem for the
newlyweds as they waved to the crowd from the balcony.
